OUR FOUNDERS

With a 20 year age difference between them, Gigi Gozzer and Neil Whitehouse have developed WLG into a business of transparency that connects their generational gap with a spark in the construction industry. When leadership is shared between an industry veteran and a talented millennial it provides a relatability to both our clients and our staff.

Together, Neil Whitehouse and Gigi Gozzer share a breadth of construction experience on both residential and commercial projects. At WLG, they have hired a team of great people, both in the office and the field, who work with reliable subcontractors and vendors.

Neil Whitehouse began his career in construction as an estate manager for English Nature, an organization dedicated to the preservation of Britain’s historic estates. In the early 1990s he moved to the Bay Area and worked for a residential construction firm as a site supervisor where he managed projects of significant scope, $10 million or more.

In the 2000s Neil started his own full-service construction company, Whitehouse Builders of Berkeley. After the 2008 recession, Neil narrowed the focus from a full-service construction company to a construction management practice, running Whitehouse Project Management until 2015. In this capacity, Neil worked alongside, Gigi Gozzer on many residential projects and in late 2016, they decided to form a business partnership and founded WLG Construction.

Before WLG, Gigi Gozzer gained experience managing construction projects for multiple clients in the Bay Area. At WLG, she is responsible for the complete project delivery process from bid through constructions to final handoff to the client.
